And the Dragonlance books are a must. Lucy Lawless has been cast as the voice for Goldmoon in the upcoming 3D animated version of Dragons of Autumn Twilight. OMGOMG.

- Favorite: "Skinny Legs and All," by Tom Robbins
- Something good for you: I have this book called "A Treasury of Kahlil Gibran." A lot of the stories deal with Christianity, especially its Lebanese version, but not all of them do. Somewhere in my journal I have the story "The Ambitious Violet," I'll send you a link when I find it.
- Something light: "Stardust," by Neil Gaiman
- Something heavy: "Darwin's Dangerous Idea," by Daniel Dennett

I've read brave new world and 451 and really enjoyed both of those. I've seen 1984 and lolita. Lolita was disturbing to me because I really hate to watch weak male characters being dragged around and used. I watched it because my gf at the time was telling me how hot it was... yeah... i didn't think so.
1984 was an interesting movie and i'm betting it would be a pretty good book too.
My favorites: Enders game. It's light but soooo freaking awesome. Orson Scott Card. The series then branches off into the shadow and the ender series. I HIGHLY suggest it though. It's light, but there's a depth to it too. It's explored further in additional series.
